Pickens driving the teams #92 back up car after problems early with #29 was the class of the field starting on the outside front row of the 25 Lap main event and never looking back leading every lap.
From Promoter Tim McAvaney: We still can't believe Tim has gone. The whole industry was stunned when we heard the news last April that Tim was involved in a highway accident. In a bitter-sweat twist, Crouch's wife Shelley recently gave birth to a son, with the couple only learning of the pregnancy a day prior to the accident. The Crouch car was raced by Western Australian Scott Glazebrook. We must thank the South Australian Speedcar Association and the Crouch family who have worked hard to make this event a big one! Michael would like to thank Jack Berry and the Polar Ice team for their hard work and the locals for their awesome hospitality!
